On the day of the Rebbe's wedding the shluchim in Warsaw chose to farbreng in the original location of the historical wedding that took place in the city 77 years ago. The temimim/shluchim in the yeshiva opened the event at the location of Rebbe's chuppah where they sang the 'Arba Bavos'. The tomim, Mordechai Shmuel Lightstone described the sequence of events at the Rebbe's wedding and the tomim Chezki Wolf followed up with inspirational thoughts. The crowd then headed for the location of kingly 'seudas mitzvah' (wedding meal) was held and they all said a merry 'lechayim' and celebrated with dancing and singing. From there they proceeded to the yeshiva hall where they held a farbrengen with members of the local Jewish community

ביום חתונתו של הרבי יצאו שלוחי חב"ד בוורשא לחגוג ולהתוועד במקום בו נערכה החתונה לפני 77 שנים. התמימים השלוחים בישיבה הפועלת בעיר, פתחו את האירוע המרגש במקום שהוצבה חופתו של הרבי ושם ניגנו את ניגון הד' בבות. הת' מרדכי שמואיל לייטסטון תיאר בפני הנוכחים את סדר חתונתו של הרבי ולאחריו סיים הת' חזקי וולף בדברי התעוררות

משם פנה הקהל למקום שבו נערכה סעודת המצוה ברח' פנסקה שבו הרימו הנוכחים כוסיות 'לחיים' ויצאו בריקוד סוער. לאחר הארועים באתרים ההיסטוריים חזר הקהל לישיבת חב"ד להתוועדות חגיגית שערכו עם בני הקהיל המקומית

Article From Shmais Talmidim HaShluchim to Warsaw visit sites of the Rebbe's Chuppa and wedding

In honor of 14 Kislev, the wedding anniversary of the Rebbe & Rebbetzin, the Talmidim HaShluchim to Warsaw, Poland visited both the of the Rebbe's Chuppa / the old yeshiva where the Niggun "Daled Bavos" was sung with musical accompaniment and the seder of the events was recounted by Hatomim Mordechai Shmuel Lightstone. Afterwards there was Divrei Hisorerus from Hatomim Chezky Wolff.
The next stop was the site where the wedding Seuda took place, on Panska street. There, the Bochurim said L'chaim and danced. Afterwards everyone returned to the Yeshiva for a large Farbrengen.

The Mikvah lady was fired -they think she stole . . . But at the same time (besides the fact that we got a new cleaning lady) we also got a new Mashpia/Rosh Yeshiva whatever . . . The one and only Hatamim (Hachosin) Chezky Wolff!!!

This past Friday Mordechai Lightstone got his first Tefillin on mivtzoyem (Friday Mivtzoyem that is) Mr. Ya'akov Wietzner . . . . one of the lead actors for the Yiddish Theater here in Warsaw.

77 years after the Rebbe's Wedding was held in Warsaw in the year 5689, the central Chabad house in the city directed by the shliach, Sholom Ber Stambler is arranging a special event with the help of the shluchim-students and local friends of Chabad. After many efforts the exact spot of the Tomchei Temimim yeshiva, where the Chuppa of the Rebbe was held, was located, and the hall of the local library, where the wedding meal was held was also determined despite the fact that the city was literally razed at the time of the holocaust.
On Thursday, the 14th of Kislev, the wedding day of the Rebbe, the students-shluchim are planning to visit these two spots and will attempt to relive and derive inspiration from both of the stirring events held years ago on this special day.

שבע ושבעים שנים אחרי חתונת הרבי שנערכה בוורשא בשנת תרפ"ט, מתכננים בבית חב"ד בעיר לחגיגה המרכזית שתערך בבית חב"ד שבהנהלת השליח הרב שלום בער סטמבלר בהשתתפות התלמידים השלוחים והמקורבים שעסוקים בשבוע האחרון בהכנות לאירוע המיוחד. הרבה שעות השקיעו בחיפושים אחרי המיקום המדויק בו עמדה 'ישיבת תומכי תמימים' בוורשא ברחוב מלאווסקא 7 - ששם נערכה החופה וכן אולם הספריה העירונית ברחוב פאנסקא 35 בו נערכה סעודת החתונה. כידוע, העיר וורשא נהרסה עד היסוד בזמן המלחמה וכל רחובותיה נבנו מחדש. לאחר חיפוש ממושך ובעזרת מומחים מזקני הקהילה היהודית הוכתרו המאמצים בהצלחה וזוהה המקום בוודאות. ביום חמישי יום הבהיר י"ד כסלו, מתכוננים התלמידים השלוחים, ביחד עם מקורבי בית חב"ד, לבקר בשני מוקדים אלו ולנסות לשחזר את אותם אירועים מיוחדים שארעו בימים ההם בזמן ובמקום זה
